Your Mad Millie Cheese, butter, kefir, tofu and yoghurt kits will last a while, but once you run out of the consumables, no worries - you can purchase any of them through us. We also have a range of additional equipment to cover all your cheese-making requirements! If you can't find what you need please just let us know - we can order it in in a jiffy. 

Mad Mille Calcium Chloride 50 ML
Adding it to pasteurized and/or homogenised milk you buy from a shop helps restore calcium balance back to the milk, to create a firmer curd.  Use 0.5ml per litre of milk. Add to milk before adding culture and/or rennet.

Mad Millie Cheese Maker Thermos
An easy-to-use piece of equipment used to help with making both cheese and yoghurt. The Cheesemaker is the perfect size little incubator to keep your milk in while the culture acidifies it turning it in to curds and whey. Simply surround the vat with warm water to keep your milk at the temperature required by your recipe. Remember to keep an eye on it and refill when the water cools down so your milk doesn't go cold.

This product includes; a cheesemaker incubator, a 4L cheese vat, a 1L soft cheese vat and instruction booklet. All components are 100% BPA free, microwave oven and dishwasher safe. The size (32cm in diameter and 21.2cm in height) and stylish design of the cheesemaker makes it a great accessory for anyone's kitchen. Mad Millie Citric Acid - 100g
Mad Millie Citric Acid is a natural preservative used in place of culture to add an acidic, zesty taste. It is ideal when making Ricotta, Mozzarella and other simple, fresh cheeses.

Mad Millie Coconut Yoghurt Thickener - 100g
This thickener is what gives coconut yoghurt the perfect texture and consistency.
Directions: For 880ml of coconut milk/cream, mix 1 heaped Tbsp thickener, 2 Tbsp raw sugar (optional) and 1/2 cup of warm coconut milk/cream and mix well before adding to your mixture. Please refer to your instructions for exact recipe.
Ingredients: Organic tapioca flour, maltodextrin (from non GM corn), organic guar gum.

Mad Millie Mesophilic Culture 5 Sachet Pack
Mesophilic (MW3) is a freeze-dried culture, which contain special strains of Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris and Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis. This culture can be used to make feta, cottage cheese, cream cheese, quark, goats feta, Chevre Frais
Pack contains 5 sachets. Each sachet contains enough culture for 4 L of milk. Activity = 2.4 U. All Mad Millie cultures contain a small amount of dairy.

Mad Millie Vegetarian Rennet Tablets
10 x Microbial Vegetarian Rennet Tablets
More convenient than using rennet powder or liquid. Rennet tablets must be dissolved in cool boiled-water (as heat and chlorine can affect the rennet's activity) and added to warm milk as indicated in your Mad Millie recipe. Rennet tablets are G.E. Free.

PLEASE NOTE: These Mad Millie branded tablets are slightly different to the tablets we previously sold. These tablets are half the concentration of the old tablets. Each of these tablets treats 4 Litres of fresh milk. Please refer to dosage instructions on packet when using these tablets with old Mad Millie recipe booklets.

Vegetarian Rennet in a convenient tablet form which is shelf stable. Made from Coagulant enzyme of Mucor miehei. Each tablet is sufficient to coagulate 4 litres of milk and contains 60 IMCU minimum. To use, product must be diluted in cool, boiled-water before being poured into the milk at the time and temperature stated in your recipe. Product will last 36 months when stored in a cool dark place.

Mad Millie Tofu Coagulant 40g
Replacement Coagulant to use with your Tofu and Vegan Treats Kit. Refer to kit instructions on how to use this. This is GM Free. Ingredients: Glucono delta-lactone

Mad Millie Yoghurt Culture 5 Sachet Pack
This yoghurt culture is a freeze-dried yoghurt culture ideal for making yoghurt and yoghurt cheese. Freeze dried mixed strain culture containing Bifidobacterium species, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus.

5 sachets in each pack, each sachet cultures 1 - 2 litres of milk.
All Mad Millie culture contains a small amount of dairy.

To make yoghurt, sprinkle a whole sachet of culture to warmed milk and incubate at 40 degrees for 12 hours. Sachet is sufficient to make 1- 2 litres of yoghurt.

Our culture contains 100 MILLION probiotic bacteria cells per gram of yoghurt for up to 3 days after being made. The recommended daily intake is 1 million probiotic bacteria per gram of product, so our culture is well above the daily intake!!

Shelf life is 24 months when stored in freezer. This culture lasts out of the freezer (at room temperature) for 3 months so will be fine during postage. However, we suggest storing cultures in the freezer as soon as you get them in order to prolong the life of the culture.
