If you can pack fruit into a jar, you can preserve!
1. place rings on bottles
2. pack fruit into jar and add liquid
3. with packing stick, remove and air. Fill liquid 12 mm from the top
4. place lids on bottles and fit clips
5. place sealed bottle in preserver. Fill preserver with cold water. Cover with cold water.
6. switch unit on, set kitchen timer for 60 mins.
7. as soon as time is up, remove bottles using tongs
8. cool for 12-18 hrs with clips left on
9. remove clips, wipe bottles clean and label
10. store in a cool dark place away from kitchen cooking heat.
What can be preserved?You can preserve most fruits including apples, apricots, berries, tomatoes, cherries, goosberries, citrus fruits, grapes, mangos, nectarines, passionfruit, peaches, pears, pinapple, plums, quinces, rhubarb, strawberries, or a combination. You can also pickle vegetables such as onions, capsicums, broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, squash and chillies or a combination of all of these for a great antipasto.
