How to place your order

- You may place orders via our secure on-line shopping cart, by phone or by email.
- If you have special instructions, or need your order by a certain date for example, please send us a message via our online-chat function, or email or call us so we can make sure we add this to the order notes.

Receiving your order

Dispatch timeline

- Our aim is to dispatch your order within 1-2 business days of it being recieved, as long as the item is in stock.
- If you have a particular date by which you must recieve your order, it is always best to let us know by email or phone.
- If we are out of stock of an item or expect a delay in dispatch of more than a few days, we will email or call to notify you of the expected delay and let you know when we expect the item to be available again.

Collecting in person:

- You are always welcome to come to our shop and collect your order in person; have a look around while you are here!
- If you can't make it during business hours, collection outside of opening hours can sometimes be negotiated

Retail Orders: Australia post e-Parcel delivery times

- We send most retail orders by Australia Post e-parcel (Standard or Express)

- If your order is dispatched by e-parcel, you will recieve a confirmation email containing your tracking code.
- You can check the status of your order any time on the Australia Post website.  
- If there is no-one home when the postie or courier comes to deliver your order, they will leave a message slip in your letterbox advising you where you can collect your parcel.

Delivery times e-Parcel Express:

- If you have chosen Express Post and live in an Express Post zone, Australia Post guarantees next day delivery.

Delivery times e-Parcel Standard:

- Melbourne: 1-2 working days
- Rural Victoria: 2-4 working days
- Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra & Tasmania: 3 - 4 working days
- Perth, Darwin & Cairns: 4 - 6 working days
- Rural WA, QLD & NT: 7 - 14 working days
- Please note: These are only approximate delivery times and during busy times like Christmas, deliveries may take longer.

Retail Orders: Postage & delivery charges

Orders of $100 or more

- FREE standard e-parcel delivery Australia wide up to 3kg in weight (kg or cubic, whichever is highest)*
- FREE standard e-parcel delivery Metro Melbourne up to 20kg in weight (kg or cubic, whichever is highest)*
- (If your order may qualify for free shipping based on the guidelines above, please ask for a freight quote in the 'Shipping Method' field. We will review your order and if we can offer free shipping, your order will be sent out immediately. If charges apply due to bulk or other circumstances, we will contact you with freight costs and ask if you wish to proceed with your order. 

Orders of less than $100

- Flat fee of $9.95 standard e-parcel delivery Australia wide up to 3kg in weight*
- Flat fee of $9.95 standard e-parcel delivery Metro melbourne up to 20kg in weight*
- Flat fee of $12.95 Express post e-parcel Metro Melbourne up to 20kg in weight*

*Note about large/bulky orders:

- Some large or bulky items (such as a Bokashi bin, or boxes of catering ware) will be charged based on cubic weight, in accordance with Austraia Post conditions.
- Cubic weight is based on the dimensions of an item, not the kilogram weight. So something light but very large has a higher cubic weight than kg weight.
- For orders over 5kg (Australia wide) or 20kg (Metro melbourne), additional postage charges will be calculated automatically by our online shopping cart, based on the weight of your order and Australia post e-parcel rates.
- Please note: we will always contact you to confirm any additional postage cost before finalising your order.
- We do not charge a handling fee; we aim to keep postage rates as low as possible by charging only what Australia Post charges us.

Wholesale Catering Ware orders: Courier delivery times & freight costs

- We send most wholesale (box amount) Catering Ware orders via courier, and they usually get sent direct from our warehouse

BioPak catering ware range - delivery to addresses in Metro Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth or Brisbane:

- For orders placed prior to 11am, same day delivery
- For orders place before close of business, next day delivery
- For orders of 4+ boxes in the Biopak range (excluding napkins and wooden cutlery which are counted as 1/2 box each), FREE freight applies to these Metro areas. (Subsidised freight applies to all other areas of Australia)
- FREE courier service is not automatically calculated by our website - but we will always let you know when FREE courier service applies to your location, and if you have paid freight during the checkout process, we will refund it when appropriate.

BioPak catering ware range - delivery to other addresses around Australia:

- Our couriers are pretty efficient and usually deliver within a few days; ask us for an ETA or to track your delivery any time.
- Freight is subsidised on all orders; minimum standard charge is $16.50 inc gst.
