We all leave an environmental footprint on our surroundings as a result of the way we live. At Going Green Solutions our aim is to help you reduce your footprint by offering sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives to commonly used business, catering, household and personal care products.

About us

Going Green Solutions is a family run business that evolved from our own desire to integrate a more sustainable and healthy way of living into our home, work and lifestyle. We found there were many great products available to suit or needs…but we had to search high and low for them! We wanted to source all of these things in one place - and this is what we now offer to you.

Not only do we want to offer the convenience to our customers of not having to hunt around, but we want to make it easier for businesses, households and organisations all over the place to take up these changes quickly and hassle-free so that we can collectively create a strong influence on reversing global warming and protecting our planet.

First hand experience

We have used or currently use almost all of the products within our range ourselves, so we can offer you first hand advice about how things work and which options might best suit your needs – whatever your needs are. We are also always interested in your product requests, or in following up more sustainable product alternatives you may have heard of but don't know where to find.

Our own Green Solutions!

You may be interested to know about some of the way in which we keep our business as green as possible.

• We use 100% Green Power for both our home and our business
• We reuse all packaging material that gets sent to us (to send things to you)
• We recycle all our paper and hard plastic office waste, as well as our printer cartidges
• We print double sided and reuse single-side printed paper
• We are in the process of installing Clear Comfort window insulation on our office (and household) windows to reduce our heating and cooling needs
• We use energy efficient light globes (either compact fluoro or LED)
• We buy locally and use local services wherever possible
• All printing is done with vegetable based inks with the exception of our office laser printer
• We investigate the the TLC (total life cycle) of the products we sell as much as we are able to with our limited resources to satisfy ourselves that they are produced in accordance with fair trade practices and are the best alternative we can find
• We buy Australian made wherever possible - where a product is made elsewhere, it is because there is no comparable Australian made product available
• We are a home based business, a fast growing industry sector that is perfectly suited to a sustainable economy:
• We do not require transport to and from work
• We use only one set of facilities for home and work
• We offer access to products to our local community, and we utilise products and services from other local businesses.
• By living and working in our community, we help build and maintain a vibrant and 'living' community
